Job Description

Basic Job Functions: Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Wash Bay teammates ensure our trucks & trailers are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. The current opening is for Monday-Thursday: 10pm-6:30am, Sunday: Day Shift. Days off will be Friday & Saturday.

• Wash and clean the exterior and interior of trucks using pressure washers, brushes, and cleaning agents
• Inspect trucks for damages and report any issues to management
• Maintain wash bay area and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• All other reasonable duties assigned by supervisorCompensation:

$22.29 per hour + $1.00 shift differential + Annual ROA Bonus ROA Bonus ROA Bonus percentage is variable, determinate upon company performance each year, up to 33% of annual salary. (Current average at C.H.I. is 33%) Profit-Sharing 10% of Nucor’s pre-tax earnings are contributed to the Profit Sharing Plan annually and distributed to all eligible teammates. A large portion is deposited into your profit-sharing account, and a smaller portion is distributed in cash. Current 6-year average = 19.88% of your eligible earnings.
