Pay Rate: $30.00

Location: Houston, TX 77054

Schedule: Part Time (30 hours a week)

Job Duties:

As the Videographer, you will be responsible for developing content ideas as well as attending various events across the Precinct. You will collaborate with and support the creative team’s collateral creation while cataloging and organizing multimedia content files.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or Equivalent
• Three (3) years of experience that is relevant to the department assigned

· Valid Texas State Drivers License

• Previous experience working in government or with elected officials 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·Proven experience as a videographer or similar role

• Basic understanding of design and formatting principles to aid in resizing content for different channels, adding developing splash screens, clipping content, and writing captions
• Experience and proficiency in multi-camera live-streamed productions

·Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and knowledge of digital technology trends and online marketing strategies 

·Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro 

·Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio equipment 

·Creative mindset with an eye for detail 

·Excellent communication and collaboration skills 

·Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects 

·Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus 

• Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Proficient in photography
• Experience working with elected officials or in government is preferred
