Job Title: TIG Welder
Job Description

This position requires candidates to perform TIG welding with both aluminum and stainless steel materials. The role involves reading weld symbols and prints for bridge companies and parts for fabrication firms.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding using aluminum from .040 to 1/8 inch ensuring water-tight welds without bleeds.
  • Conduct TIG welding using stainless steel from 24 gauge to 1/8 inch ensuring water-tight welds without bleeds.
  • Perform MIG welding on mild steel ranging from 20 gauge to 1/4 inch in multiple positions.
  • Read and interpret weld symbols and prints accurately.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques.
  • Experience with aluminum and stainless steel welding.
  • Ability to fit and fabricate parts using welding equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with MIG welding is a plus.

Work Environment

Operate in a well-organized environment with shifts available from 5:30 am to 1:00 pm or 6:00 am to 2:30 pm for first shift, and from 1:30 pm to 12:00 am for second shift, with a $1 premium for second shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
