Job Title: Appointment Scheduler Representative
Location: Amherst, NY — Onsite
Schedule: Full-Time 11:00 AM–7:00 PM (EST)
Pay: $16/hour + commission
Training: 2 days of paid training

We’re looking for motivated, professional Appointment Scheduler Representatives to join our growing team in Amherst, NY. In this role, you’ll connect with homeowners, introduce the potential benefits of solar energy, and schedule consultations with our solar specialists.

This position is fully onsite and ideal for candidates with experience in sales, outbound calling, appointment setting, customer service, or lead generation.

What You’ll Do
As an Appointment Scheduler Representative , you will:
  • Make outbound calls using company-provided leads. No cold sourcing required
  • Educate homeowners on how solar energy may help reduce their electricity costs
  • Identify interest and determine eligibility for a solar consultation
  • Schedule qualified appointments for solar specialists
  • Accurately document call outcomes, customer details, and follow-ups
  • Follow provided scripts, call flows, and compliance guidelines
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and engaging tone on every call
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly performance goals
  • Participate in ongoing coaching, training, and feedback sessions
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in sales, telemarketing, appointment setting, lead generation, or outbound calling
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly build rapport over the phone
  • Comfortable working in a goal-driven, performance-based environment
  • Basic computer skills and accurate data entry ability
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work onsite in Amherst, NY
  • Availability for full-time hours between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM (ET), Monday through Saturday (rotating Saturdays)
Preferred (Not Required):
  • Experience in solar, home improvement, roofing, HVAC, windows, or related industries
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or call center dialing platforms
  • Call center or office-based customer service experience
  • Strong objection-handling skills
  • Experience working with commissions or sales incentives
  • Bilingual abilities
What We Offer
  • Competitive base pay of $16/hour
  • $50 commission for every appointment that successfully shows up
  • Estimated weekly earnings:
    • Base pay: ~$640/week (40 hours)
    • Commission: $100–$200/week (based on a minimum of just 2–4 attended set appointments)
    • Total estimated weekly earnings: $740–$840+
  • Paid training to set you up for success
