Job Description

Nielsen Fleet is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our busy automotive dealership. This position provides administrative and accounting support to the accounting department and assists with a variety of office functions essential to daily dealership operations.

Responsibilities

• File and maintain accounting and dealership records.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) processes.
• Prepare and process daily deposits.
• Stock in new vehicle inventory into the dealership management system.
• Assist with data entry and document management.
• Support the accounting team with month-end and other administrative tasks.
• Perform general clerical and office duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous clerical, administrative, or accounting experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Automotive dealership experience (Reynolds & Reynolds) is preferred but not required.
